Manual backup from C-panel

Today in this Article I will tell you how to take the backup of all the files, folders and databases form C-panel. Follow the instructions carefully.

Login to you C panel account

Go to the File Manager

If you have several websites hosted on the same account then you have to choose document root for the site you wish to backup.

After choosing a website, you are now on the root directory page – select all the files and zip them, click on the compress option in the right side at the top.

Once Zip is complete download the Zip file (You can change the name of Zip file)

After that click on the wp-config.php file, to find out the name of the database

The database name is next to the ‘DB Name_’ option here.

Now go back to the C panel and click on PHP my admin in the database section.

If you have several websites hosted on your account you will see a list of the database in the left.

You need to select the database associated with the site you are backing up.

Choose the database and click on the export button at the Top menu bar.

Click on go (don’t change any option)

Now all the files, folders and databases have been downloaded.
